More SL goodness

For me, the best thing to do on second life so far is playing trivia lol, as i get to joke around with the people whom i've gotten to know, and earn some money at the same time. Therefore i tend to neglect exploring SL when i log on. I went to orientation island and finding not much to do, I tried to move around on a inflatable boat i got for free, but after a while it supposedly got sent to the lost and found... which basically consisted of my screen jumping about without my character or the boat he boarded. Here was a part of the transcript for one of the trivia games i played yesterday :3 There were quite a few people there but we only had 2 or 3 playing, most were content with dancing around and possibly IMing each other. Because of that i began competing, for a while atleast, with Sabine. But she types too fast so i gave up = =

Loafing Around

I'm still getting used to second life. There are just too many odd and interesting things to do. While chatting with people i realized how they were throwing fruits and snowballs and got one for free courtesy of the person known as sinner sleeper. Exploring SL

After forgetting about SL for a week I decided to log back on and go look around. I also went to every freebie place listed in the searches in hopes of finding some free stuff. After changing my skin so it no longer looks plastered I found a place with a lot of dancing AFKs


After which I found another place with some people to talk to, though it was mostly dancing and answering trivia questions.


I ended up answering trivia along with the others as every correct question answered nets u $3. I managed to get $97 from it :D There were questions like "What country is bordered only by Spain?" and "What country in Eastern Europe has a name that means "people from Rome"?" What i did mostly was ask around about how to use the different controls and stuff. Someone gave me some dance animations so i could dance any time i wanted. I also got help answering some trivia questions which were absurdly difficult in a sense, like the trivias related to pirates. after answering trivias for a while i logged off to go to bed.

Second Life ... It's my first day

Because of the required session in second life for Online English Learning, I logged on last last wednesday, iirc at around 9:00AM with my character. I first went to freebie heaven to get some free stuff, and tried to equip my new character. After equipping a batman mask though, I couldn't take it off, and thus my face became entirely black. I tried changing everything and eventually got a plastered face.

When I joined the meeting there were some interesting exclaimations from my fellow classmates but... meh~~ no pics ;_;
